i got 2 S12L7's and i am planning on selling them and buying 1 12 inch Solo x. I am wondering which one will get louder and sound better (i know the Solo x will but i just want to make sure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )? Or do you guys have any other subs to suggest? and what would be a nice amp to run this?

What kind of power? I would say the L7's would get louder, but the X would sound better... Give the L7's ~1000w RMS of power per sub and tune low to 28-30Hz and it will sound great.

my l7s got 800rms to each and tuned to 35hz

If you have L7's already, its not going to be worth it to go to a single 12" Solo X then IMO, it will just not be that dramatic of a change.

gonna need alot of power to power those up to full potential. Not to mention a good electrical system.
The L7s will be louder and sound better IMO

stick with the L7's and save the money for something else.

i could never see the solo-x as an daily driver sub woofer. from what i read on these forums and others, it looks more like an strictly SPL sub. unless thats what you like:eyebrow:
