spl is based on psi and cabin volume. With the amp you have I would only run one L7. If you had a pair of 2500D's then I would say the X would walk all over the L's. You just don't have enough power fella.

i used to have 2 solo x 12's but i liked my 3 l7 12 better so i went back to the 3 l7's. ima put up the solo x's for sale. only used them for a month

i was giving them 2000 watts a piece. really had to upgrade eletrical system when i installed those.

see, the regular L7 is more sensitive to lower power is why the three regular L7's were louder. One, you had more cone area, 3 vs 2 and power ratio, the X';s would have been louder with say 3000-up per driver...but cool...and yes, they need power, so way more juice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yea but i can now say i know alot of things about subs amps set-ups and so forth now from this website and from learning by blowing subs. well i only blew my 2 10's that were kick comps and i purposely did that. those were my first pair of subs and i was running them off of a 880 watt soundstream amp. but yea im am please with my setup of 3 l7's now. anybody know anyone who wants to buy 2 solo x's.
