Want Bass?
Well sunday was the day that I started taking apart my old box(5.2cubes) down to (4cubes) tuned it to 36hz for the solo x, got it built. looked like crap.
Monday came around went out got some carpet and we carpeted it and wired the ***** up. the bolts that come with the solo x aren't strong at all. We broke one so I am getting another one, hooked it all up and it didn't work. We sat around thinking what it could be from engine noise to amp interference, power wire to close to the rca's, finally I said hook a DMM to each speaker wire to see what each coil was at, so there was the problem, a simple miswire. correct it and try again. another probelm, this time the amps could just run each one to each coil, so off to the store to get a strap wire to strap the amps.(kx1200.1)'s. pick it up and got back and hooked it all up, runs like a champ, 36hz test tone and the bish wasn't even moving, but was rattling everything. The sub does sound decent for what people say, isn't crisp on rock, but the rap, it gets low. Voltage drop was pretty low dipping to 10.98 on the 36hz test tone at idle but when rev'd to 1200 went up to 13.98 and held steady.(180amp iraggi alt)
