solo baric

Just like mine baby. Old school. No dual voice coils, but hey, just run 2-4 of them. They sound as good as most subs, if you juice them enough. They were around before class D sub amps were common, and few amps but Orions could handle 2ohm or less loads. I just like tight fast bass, and 1 sounded good in my Dakota circa 1998, so 2 in my Civic Si should rock, I'll tell you tomorrow when I hook them up to my new Xtant amp.

i'm jealous..i'm going on ebay and look 2 see if they have the ols solos...i like them over the new ones....the old solos has better sq.....the new solos just get loud with ok sq

80

hmm 4 solo 10's or 8 solo 8's or 3 solo 12's..hmmm...i'm really thinking about getting them

Got mine hooked up, and man they hit tight! I miss a bit of the low extension of a 10 or 12, but these play **** low and sound fantastic. I'm only shooting 200w (rated, undoubtedly more) into 2ohms and they hammer. I'd post a pic or 2 but it's just thrown in my car now, until I get the time and cash to build a fiberglass box and amp trim. The xtant amp is way too sexy to live strapped to the back of the crappy box they are in, though I will carpet it tomorrow so I don't feel like a complete tool. If you can find these, buy them & run 'em sealed. They are TIGHT!
