Solo Baric L5 vs L7

What are the main differences between the L5s and L7s? I know the L7s are built from a different material. Does one hit harder then the other..if so is it worth the price difference. Also I like tight bass..what are some good subs for this?

try http://www.cbrstereo.com they sell them for 220$ However, I'd advise against buying online. I bought one online and fried the voice coils...luckily I was good friends with the guy at my kicker dealer and he got kicker to replace it. If you talk to your local kicker dealer they should be willing to make a deal with you if you buy 2 or more subs...my guy was going to sell me two for 500$ thats 250 a piece and you get the kicker warranty! I wish I would have done that from the start. That same kicker dealer here is running a special on L7's, buy one get one half off. Just see what kinda deal you can get. You'll be glad to have that dealer there to just swap them out if one blows rather than waiting a month for kicker to replace or reject it like I did.

I forgot to mention...my kicker dealer says that they only pay about 160-170 for L7 12's and sell them for about 350 normally. Thats a pretty big profit so they should come off the price some at least!

well, the L7's can handle more power, and they probably will hit the tighter bass. I know for sure, that if they are powered right, and in the right box, they will be louder.

I don't know if they are worth the extra cash though. go listen to some at your local dealer if you have one. thats probably your best bet.
