Hey, I need to beat 144.2 because it is (sadly enough) the highest SPL ever hit where I live. I have about 10 cu ft total to work with and I would like the total sub/amp budget to stay below $800. not necessarily the max limit but its something to work with. thanx.

i'd say a single 9515 and the new RE amp that is 1500rms would be a nice amp/sub combo if you wanted to beat it. many other options out there but that is one hell of a combo with 800 you outta be able to get both if not it's very close to 800.

ok pretend the dd is 999 (thats what it would be if it was a jl, kicker,.....), now pretend http://www.ddaudio.com is a cheap online authurized dealer, 500 bucks sound like alot now?

But you can get those "inflated price" subs for much cheaper on ebay then anywhere else and a 999 dollar sub would be 400 bucks.

Plus I was talking about RE not DD.

actually, the DD 9515 is 579 and the RE amp is 599.

RE's prices on their site ARE NOT CORRECT they show the MSRP to satisfy their dealers around the country...

Call them... the prices are much lower..

DD's prices do not go lower... but their prices aren't retail either..

I've ran my 2 and 4 z9000's at 1 ohm mono daily for weeks at a time...
