If I have two subs at 300RMS each. Would this amp power them well? I don't fully understand amps and stuff yet.

Yes it will power them well if the subs have dual 2ohm voice coils.

I know that is what I though, but I currently have an amp that is 760 and someone explaind to me that some how each sub is only getting like 160 from each sub.

Because its either overrated or not a 1 channel amp.

The subs will get their rated rms each...
