Grizz Archer, the guy who used to work at PPI, mentioned that PPI P1000.1 is supposedly good for 1000watts RMS at 2ohm, but they got the power rating wrong and went ahead with the "underrated" specs because the "literature" was printed. The internally identical Soundstream TN1200.1D is supposedly rated correctly at 1050watts RMS power. It would be nice if some third party confirmed this. I had the mono block and 4-channel PPI Phantoms. Great little amps and never get hot. At 200 bucks a pop, they're a great value.
