Also similar to apsm's but I'll be the first to admit board layout isn't everything.

a small little comparison, one uses 0 gauge power and input, and is double the size and double the components. The other is literally a little less than half the size with 4 gauge inputs. Not even a brazilian full bridge design. Which one should make more power?

It really doesn't matter much to me what you all run, or like. AB, DD,DC,AP, Sundown, ect ...none of it is any skin of my a r s e, I'm going to be running Mmats. And I know those work great, and make power ...and are efficient ... But, they are not in the OP's budget.

I have benched the MA N3, and it makes what it's rated to make, at what/where it's rated to make it at. So, I would kinda assume the N4 would too, which is really the same as the AB ph4000 .... it is a decent budget amp. But personally, I'd wait for a good used mmats, or US Amps to come up, and buy it ...

OP, you just missed a mmats d100hc on ebay, for $250 .... they regularly will bench at 1700 rms, easy .....and are over 90% efficient ....

And the Merlin md3d i just sold did over 2400 rms ....

those use merlin amps are beast, @roko had one on his custom TC9 15 on stock electricals and that thing put in work! Best thing is they can be had for cheap. MMats are small footprint and huge power similar design to brazilians.

Might be unknown to most same board as Massive Audio D8000 and Soundstream DTR3400. Ran one for 2 days before i sold it, for the price you can't beat it.

Yea the merlin put in work forsure I missed that amp shot it to @gotgixers and he benched it and man was I impressed! !!

i LOVE the old d series mmats! I've had several and they are amazing if you can scoop them up under 250. And yes, they sell regularly on ebay for around that.

yea, me too, I have a few of them ...I plan on running a DHC1400.1 on each one of my FU Audio 15's ....
