sold my deafening system...need some help

just sold my rockford p3 15's. now i miss the bass so im looking for a super cheap 15" i know you guys prob get this all the time but...what suggestions do you have? i have a rockford p1000 amp. i dont want it loud....im sick of loud. i just want suuuper low and good SQ bass. whats the cheapest 15 i can get? i was looking at a $60 boss audio lol...is it a P.O.S.?

also why the hell cant i find any DD subs? i heard they were awesome for low bass. did they discontinue?

and your arent finding DD because your not looking in the right places try the classifieds or if you looking to buy new find a dealer near you... you wont find them at best buy

um...both of those get pretty loud...and y are you looking for a 15" if you want low and SQ.....i suggest a 10" or 12" Image Dynamics.....or a RE SE.

i sliced my old 15's box in half. so thats what i have to work with.....and i didnt know 10's or 12's were lower than 15's....hmm

can i put a 10 or 12 in my 15" box if i slap another sheet of mdf board over top of the 15" hole? or with that mess up the sound?

well technically you can but what about the big gaping hole on the side? I had my Alphas Sealed in 5 cu ft on about 1200 watts and they sounded amazing. Not as loud as being ported but they were deff punchier and hit some good lows for a sealed box. If you want low, just get a DC Lv 4 15 like above and build a ported box to manufacture's specs and tune it around 28 hz. yes its sealed....i just cut my old 15's box in half. i dont know what the cu ft is.
