Software to make phone calls

I am looking for software that will use my modem, make and recive calls with, that will use my soundcard.

Nope. I am looking for FREE software, that will use MY 56k modem as a phone. I am not looking for those stupid things you have to pay for that makes a call using the interenet connection, I want to use MY phone line, I just wantt to ba able to talk through my soundcard.

Vonage does that too, I believe.

skype is over IP.

Qtip, did you google this subject AT ALL? I've found plenty of stuff back in the day that does this, but Skype is superior IMO.
