Nero 6 works the best for me. It's fast and very easy. Don't use the free-ware version as it is terrible.

Yea but you can only burn 30 songs in iTunes to a CD-R

Preferences > Advanced > Burning and pick MP3 mode... works fine for over 30 songs for me

Yes, that is MP3.

That actually works best with the Pioneer headunits since they are designed for Windows Media Player and will allow for album covers and the others to display correctly. But 11 is out now and it is a major improvement.

Number of songs depends on the bitrate of the MP3's your using...if you're using 320K or higher VBR tracks, you're not going to fit as many if you used lower quality ones.

I use Cakewalk Pyro, works well enough.
