In class, we are learning about girls wanting equal rights and getting them by becoming CEOs of major businesses.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/zzzzz.gif.06fa1eabe00c8b872d7e814474c9b95c.gif Today we watched a video on "breaking the glass ceiling." The women on the clip kept talking about working to get a woman as president. Whenever it was over, the girls in class kept saying that it would be possible and its only fair.
Many of the guys in the class exploded (including me). Women want their equal rights but dont have to sign up for the draft plus numerous other things. They dont complain about that unfairness but the fact that a woman cant run the country. Dont most countries look down on females. Hence if we had a female president, America would be looked down upon (more than it already is).
I was just curious about everyone's thoughts on this subject. Should that be the exception to women getting "equality"? It just blew my mind the way the females in the class thought they deserved the title yet they havent done as much in this country as males.
