so would this setup work?

4 guage will be fine for power and ground. and some rca's. just get a cheap 4 guage kit, with everything long enough to reach where you need. brand doesn't matter much.
I don't agree...ever used the Scosche Kit....4 gauge is really 8 gauge.

But, any real name brand will do...or I heard the KNU stuff is good.

And I don't think those KEnwoods will handle 400 RMS like they say they can, so stick with that amp.

alright. im just going to stick with that hu then. ill use my ipod.
would this wiring kit work?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00022OBD8/ref=pd_luc_sim_01_01
NO NO NO! Get a real name brand wiring kit, I know the other guy said any will do but DO NOT get Pyle, Lanzar, Legacy, or any other crap like that. Your power wire will be as thick as speaker wire.

Look for a rockford, JL, Kicker, Stinger (Tsunami), Memphis, as long as the wire inside the insulation is actually what they say it is then you will be good.

well im looking at all the stuff on crutchfield then im buying it on amazon. because some stuff is from different places and i want to order everything at once. also. there are some sites that amazon uses that sells things for alot cheaper.

all this stuff together. so far is coming to around 350

That kit you linked to is a very good one, Rockford actually puts more wire in then they need to so it is bigger than 8 AGU.

Also, the material they use for the shielding makes it really easy to run...not like that sticky shiny coating some manufacturers use.

alright i just bought everything. the 2 subs, amp, hu, wiring kit, and in-dash installation kit thing. and im building my own box. i hope this all works out good.

thanks for all the help guys. ill tell yall how it is when i get it installed

wow guys. I got everything installed and this thing hits hard and is very loud.
