so who is "happy/satisfied" with thier system???

im so happy i finally got my sub working correctly... i have

even tried it in its proper sealed enclosure, but in the end

i surrendered to the ported monster... the SQ didnt change

drastically enough to stick with the sealed... plus the ported

box looks cooler...

im fighting myself on whether to just get coaxials or really do

the full on comp set and amp...

anybody hear anything about the eD 6500s ??? they are

finally back in stock and fit nicely in my "all eD eventually"

philosophy... but does their sound fit in my

"I NEED MIDBASS NOW" predicament...

would running a comp amp really hurt my electrical that bad?

its not like im going to push 1000watts to them...

I'm pretty pleased with my system... A few things need to be worked on though:

- Get midbass and put where current comps are

- Move comps to pods

- Get rid of my sub box, mount it flush into the back where the spare tire is

- Fix my annoying HU problem cutting out the right chan every once in a while

i am stoked about my new setup, check the sig for where the noise is. after so much work it feels good to have what i think is a damm good setup (big thanks to noah). and it's pretty much complete, except that i now realized that much deadening is need. good thing the secondskin buy is going on.

I have never really had a system I have been happy with over 10 yrs now nothing really has been like wow I am keeping this. A normal system for me lasts around 1 month or so. Thats hu amp sub comps sometimes etc. I dont know why but I always want more. I can say the jl 12w6v2's I had in a sealed box I ran for about 6-8 months I think that was the longest I ever ran subs and a amp and they were pushed by 2 kicker zr 240's. But as of right now I got sx 15 orion 600d ( just sold my hifonics amp) the pioneer 860, kicker rs6c's. But there on the hu as off right now. But all this stuff is for sale to try something diffrent. I havent ran anything loud enough for me.

thanx to this forum, i realize i have a looooong way to go. if i was completely clueless (3 weeks ago, now i'm just clueless) i would think my system is the shit. now i realize that good gear doesnt mean good sound. i still have a lot of tweaking i need to do to improve it. however, i do see this hobby/passion can easily become an endlesss money pit.
And who got ya here... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ?????

NG

I would, except that...

1) I have other projects to spend my nonexistant money on.

2) I find it very hard to justify spending over a grand and a half on a (raises nose aloft, high in the air) solid-state amp.

I am actually 100% satisfied with my current setup with no plans to mod it at all. There is 0 listening fatigue, soundstage is perfect to me, bass is soooo deep, mellow and smooth... Everything I love in a system or home system.
