So which amp to get?!

i plan on running a single SA -12 at 2 ohms off one of these at first and then later on possible buying another SA - 12 bridging the two and running them a t 2 ohms together off one of these. Which one do you think would be more effective overall? Which one has a better rep? Thanks!

I think that the Hifonics would be a better amp for subwoofer than the MB..Just my opinion

i'd go with the mb quartz over the hifonics ,even tho they are from the same company,but the mb is the higher end amp.good budget amp

Yes, Those S Stream amps, have better specs. i've installed them in a couple of my customer cars ,and i dont think they are all that .to get them loud you have to turn up the gains way to much for my liking .never had good luck with hifonics or mb quartz either .but thats just my .02

Def not the Hifonics. the SS Rubi would be good, those are solid amps too. Not sure why you're trying to run at 2 ohms though? If you're getting dual 4 ohm subs (which ya should be), the first one can be at 2 ohms, then together, at 1 ohm. Should match up pretty well.

wait? how would you get 2 4ohm subs wired together at 1 ohm? if you run them both parallel the lowest your going to get two 4 ohm subs is 2 ohms??? if you wired 2 2 ohm subs together in parallel you would then get an end result at 2 ohms? am i missing something?

S Stream amps specs are pretty darn good.Check them out, and compare to the other amps??They would be a choice made for myself other than the PPI Sadona amps, would be my second choice, yet, I m not in the market for any amp at the moment.Not only that, but what a hell of a warranty????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/boink.gif.91933e72f927f2cefc79aff02573090c.gif

You can wire two dual 4 ohm subs @ 1 ohm, and 4. You can't wire two dual 4 ohm subs to 2 ohms.
