New member here.....worked at Best Buy as an installer. Just wanted to know what everyones buying up these days? I know theres better stuff out there than what is mainstream.....occasionally you get a crazed cutomer come in and tell you all about stuff you've never heard of lol. I'm not one of those people who think everything at Best Buy is the best cause the truth is they really sell nothing good!

So let's here some new companies.......

Lol yup, they like to brain wash there employees. I hated workin there cause I was suppose to tell people are stuff was top of the line when I knew it was junk. I hate tellin lies like that.

I had a customer come in with some RE Audio stuff, he let me here it and I have to say I was real impressed with it.

I swear some are complete idiots... I went in to see what they would do if I asked them to set my gains, and they said::: "I just do it by ear see what sounds best, just mess with the bass boos on the amp"

I wanted to laugh in his face, but I maintained my composure.

Let me tell you about Best Buy...

I am in, just browsing and such. Guy walks up to the sales guy and said that his parents bought him an amp for his car but he had never heard of the brand and was wanting to see about trading it in for a brand name he knew.

So the salesman asks what the brand name was.

The kid says Zapco.

The salesman said he had never heard of it before and it was probably an off brand. So the salesman said take a look around and find something he liked and they would work out a deal.

I walk over to the guy and ask him what series it was, if he knew. The kid tells me it is a DC1100.1. The kid was wanting to trade it in for some 600 watt monoblock amp, retailed for 500 or so i think.

I then informed the dude of the MSRP of the zapco....he about flipped. The kid ended up telling the salesman to kiss his ***.

Good stuff.
