i dont think that the economy would spiral that out of control that fast... i wouldnt say its that entirely impossible but i just dont see anything like that happening anytime soon.. There is a reason CrossBear is crazy has no teeth and thinks he is an Indian and lives on the street...

It is good theory but I don't believe that is how it will happen. Maybe there will be less truckers, but diesel electric trains FTW, also Europe has high gas prices, and they deal with it, i believe we will find some way through it. The sooner gas prices get to 5-7 dollars(even though i don't want it to be that high) the better, more immediate action will be taken. In SOME ways we are worse of with gas at 4 something again because people are still willing to pay it. I also believe this will be a rough transition, but once we get away from using so much oil it will bring the price of everything back down some.

But thats just my opinion.
