man blaming him is as foked up as what the driver did. What you want him to do? Handcuff everyone to a pole so they can't go anywhere? He locked the exit to his house and the foker decided to plow through it!

no no no, im saying the guy who commited the manslaughter was at bbb543's party, connected with him somehow. and im just saying he was just playing cool from the way he was talking. if that was me i would be in so much guilt, saddness, ect....if he did what the cops told him to do, lock up the gates and what not, he has no problem. but still doesnt take away the guilt and concern knowing that he was connected with this inncident.

First post, new member... I am currently taking intro to criminal justice and we had a recent discussion that was very similar to this. My professor is a retired police officer. He said that whomever bought the alcohol is completely accountable for anything that happens due to intoxication by that alcohol. At least in the case of parents buying it for minors. The fact that he was 21 might make a small difference, but i'll have to check on that. I'll ask my professor tomorrow and see what he says.

Sorry too man...i always hated waiting for the police to knock on my door...worst feeling ever...

geez you guys are being really tough on him. Its not his fault. How are you going to stop a guy that drives through the gate. I guess the only thing that they really could have done was to call the cops on him, but I dont know too many people that would consider that.

Well for one...you are 17 and you can't legally purchase alcohol. So whoever sold it to you, would then be held accountable.

He also can't legally sign a credit card slip, since signing that slip is signing a contract.

yeah i see where you are coming from. When I read his first post I thought the same thing. It made him seem like he did not care too much that someone with a life that meant something was murdered, but I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.
