So, my HDC3's died....

woah a 3500 on each copper coil how well did they perform with that power?

well, before they died, they were very loud, my friend has two hdc3 15s in a mini wall in his corola, and right after my hdc3s blew up, we put both of my amps at .5 ohms apiece on his two subs, and they werent even as loud as my 12's in my denali all that power really made the hdc3 12's sound different, louder in every way

at .5 ohm theymoved... ALOT. i have a vid before they died of the excursion.... pretty much around tuning they were extremely loud to the ear. i burped them on 35hz all day but on music with hits in it they would bottom out. after about 45 sec of music they would smell a lil but we ran them hard just because.

you should get more batteries tho, and tune low so you can put some power to em and enjoy em. the 18s that is

tuning low is where its at and i plan on getting two more hx400fr's and a HO Alt, and i should be set to go
