I told you in your last thread that something was going to go wrong with your amps being electrically starved. I bet those leads on those subs are roasted, due too clipping. HAR !

Ha, ur a retard, my amps are fine, my subs couldn't mechanically handle all the power, and my box was too big for how much power i had, did u hear me say anything about blowing up my amps? no. because it didnt happen.

lulz.... electrical stayed right at 12 full tilt with only 2 batts in the back. amps never got warm and subs only smelled when we tried to blow them up. was never ran more than a few sec full tilt because of electrical mostly ran with just a lil more power than one 3500 and it was much cleaner. subs died from torn tinsel on one because the spider gave out and the other we killed on purpose with white girl chopped full tilt in a 5 cube box. please dont reply when you have no idea what you are talkin about //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif oh and mushroomed cones look ballin //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

well my hdc3's died about 2 days ago' date=' running two aq3500d's, so now im out to get new subs, ill probably be ordering new subs sometime after christmas, so what im wondering is if i should A. get my 2 hdc3's reconed to aluminum coils, and buy two more aluminum 12's and run four, or should i just go all out and buy 4 copper HDC3 18's, running the 12's is going to cost significantly less, and im sure when i get a dc alt i will be seeing a little more power, do you guys think i have enough power to run 4 hdc3 18's with two aq3500d's at .5 ohms apiece?[/quote']

Uh, they were not clipped, i have a clipping light on my gain nob, they died mechanically , not from clipping. I am not a noob at car audio. fyi

your 12's would hold up with alum coils, but if you have room for 18's that's the obvious way to go and get copper for that power level.

box was for less than 1500 rms a sub so they didnt like it when we gave them almost 4 k a piece.... lol no the 18's will be treated much better. we blew these on purpose cuz we wanted to recone them to 18's

i built the oversized box for my 12's because at the time i was only running 1 3500d, but i then decided to purchase another 3500d because they were at such a low price, and i know i was playing them over excursion, they were pretty much maxed out, at pretty much at any hz i played them at. and i am planning on getting 4 copper hdc3 18's, so i can have a much more foolproof system, that wont be overpowered
