So, Limewire is ghey... what p2p source do you use?

my girl got a ipod for xmas and i was using limewire to put her songs on it. How do you get a vid on it by limewire? I downloaded a couple but couldnt get it to enque(sp?). Then i tried using media player and it wouldnt recognize the device. Do u have to buy a itunes card to get movies?
no one know?

thats why i use peer guardian and get all my shit for free.
when someone who sings a song about his girlfriend makes more than a 56 year old woman who works 60-70 hour weeks as a registered nurse and kicks her own *** to support her family, i don't care to pay for their cd. they dont deserve that money in my eyes. simple as that. "support the artist"... go **** yourself. if cds cost 2.99 like they're worth, the musicians would be on a more equal plane with average people. even then, thats an assload of money for singing or playing a **** song.
I find your obsession with equality laughable at best. You fvcking commie.

The sad thing is when you have artists that want to say we are stealing...And we are the reason that you make any money at all!!!You Idiots...but the record company is paying you for 12 to 15 percent of your own intellectual property...whos the thief???And...i never ever saw or heard anyone say anything about the people that made my modems or CD burners being even partially responsible for putting the ability into my hands to even share music for free.

Hmmmm i guess its all right because, its all white??? lol

im not sayin its on them. But just like in the dope game!!!The ones that bring the dope in the country hardly ever do any time. However in the streets You will get 20 years for a rock!

Gotta love america.

I wish you would take TN out of your location...you make people here look bad.

I don't see how you can equate a signed record contract, where the artist has adequate representation in the form of an agent, to out and out theft.

Modems and CD burners were not created to facilitate theft. Their creation was for the transmission and replication of data, respectively.

I still haven't been able to find Blastville on the map.

The MPAA tried that already before modems and CD burners were popular, this issue came up when VHS started becoming widespread and the legal precedent is that if there's a legal use for the technology, they can't be taken off the market just to prevent the illegal use of it.

I'll buy records, usually whoever the engineer was put a little more effort into the mastering of it, and if there's cool cover art or booklets in it, there's a lot more room for it compared to a tiny CD case.

But unless it's an artist I truly want to support, then I'll just torrent the FLAC.

In the need of a couple single songs. Rather than torrent, what P2P programs are there other than Limewire? For some reason Limewire won't return any results for searches anymore. I have no idea wtf is going on, but I don't care to figure it out.
So, what do you use?
*cough* oldversion.com *cough*

ANd they do transfer data whether music or not.I have no problem with music being shared...and i have family that are artists selling millions of copies thats feel downloading actually helps them to create a buzz.Now...THEFT is like 15 percent for you,85 percent for me...lol But wait its all made from your work and your sweat and even your ideas. What kind of legal representation makes robbery legal?Oh wait...the same kind that has made America stolen property right???Manifest destiny my ***...lol

i know artists that put out tracks on blogs to get the music out there, but they still want you to buy the CD if you like it.

Your a poor thief with too much time on his hands.

If you like an artist support them.

I am still trying to understand how it is robbery if a person knowing and willing signs a record contract. If there is coercion, that is quite a different matter. There is nothing (that I am aware of) that prevents an artist from distributing their music independantly. They may have more barriers to overcome, but nothing legal.

There's no doubt that the costs of an album are artificially inflated to line the pockets of the record company...but that is there prerogative as an American, is it not? And many artists will suffer if they don't have a major label....having a major label is usually how you get heard to sell albums in the first place.

I only pay for vinyl.
