I used to use soulseek for single songs, but I honestly have no idea if that works anymore because I haven't used it in well over a year.

I can always transcode down to MP3 if I want to make a CD for a trip somewhere...
Very true, but it depends on the genre.90% of the digital music I have now is torrented, either from Oink before it shut down, Waffles.fm, What.cd, or STmusic.org.
No P2P network that I know of has the same selection of FLAC...and I don't waste my time with MP3's anymore.
Life's too short for lossy music.
