No, it is not nearly as bad as micheal moore portrays it. Micheal Moore has never been that truthful in anything he has done.

Anything that is government run will never be better than something the people and competition runs. Competition drives businesses to lower prices, be innovative, and are better for the people. To use a good quote by a not so great journalist "The only thing the government can do better than competition is spending money, and i'm sure if a businesses goal was to spend money, they would do so much more efficiently than the government." -john stossel

i saw a thing on the news about healthcare situations in canada with the govt plans. sometimes people have to wait months for an operation, and in some towns there are actually lottos to determine who gets to go to the doctor that month.

its gotten so bad that people have died due to not being able to have an operation because it wasnt their turn. but its the way of life over there and people accept thier fate. its a little different.

One thing is for sure. Something has to change. Our healthcare is FUCKED UP.

I'm not saying "social medicine" is the answer but we NEED to have some sort of regulation in the costs. It's downright ridiculous.

i just know that i spent almost a 1000 bux a couple weeks ago to sit in the waiting room at the ER for almost 2 hours just to have an x ray...luckily i got a complimentary wooden shoe and an ace bandage...

out of pocket came to 300 bux, i was in the back for maybe 30 minutes....

thats why im wondering.

Actually MOST of what Moore does documentaries on are backed up with facts. Only people that are being called out by him or have something to lose try to discredit him.
