so im picking up a router today.

i already used the 3/8". just wondering if there is anything i can do to extend the bits life. and **** at making cuts so i have a little over hang from the top and bottom. a flush trim should take care of that , right?

How's that looks? haha, sorry I'm just looking to pick a bit up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Also, say you were rounding the end of a piece of wood for the port, what size would you want?

3/8" on either side would make an even round correct?

Not a bad router, the motor seems a little on the lighter side but it should be just fine for what you need it to do.
for right now , it works perfect. runs through mdf like warm butter. and for $50 i think ill be ok.

i may use it on some other woods in the future , but not any big projects.

3/8 x 2 = 6/8 = 3/4.
