Verizon is downsizing again...luckily they offer a decent severance package, so I have money for a fair bit of time. Probably gonna go back to school and get a few more it certs. In the meantime, anyone know of anybody hiring IT people in the tampa/pasco/hernando area?

Yeah, its a thought. I'd love to hook up with PriceWater Cooperhouse or however its spelled. I hear they are an excellent company to work for...Applying probably Friday at the county here, there is an opening for computer analyst. Less pay, but also less gas. For reference, I live in Brooksville/hernando (actually just before ridge manor for those in the know) and was commuting down to Temple Terrace every day. 45 miles one way roughly. So...if I get lucky and get the job, hopefully the plusses and minusses will all work out...Still, gotta keep the options open.
