Jesus, kids! She probably has been with your dad for quite sometime, rather they are married or not. (Didn't see where you said they were married, yet a lot seem to think you said that.) She has pull, because it is your dads girl, simple as that. I am a guardian over 2 girls 10 and 11 and they don't have to listen to me, but I want them too and in most cases they do. Their dad is a POS and comes around 2-4 times a year, so I believe I am an authority figure to them and they show me respect and disrespect. It is going to happen, simple as that. Listen to her and you probably wouldn't have that problem. And I am sure you are leaving out her side of the story. She just tells you what to do from time to time and you get pissed because it isn't your mother, well tuff *****! Had one of my ex girlfriends brother hit me and did over 1500 dollars in damage to my car, he took off, I called the cops, filed a police report, had my insurance company come out and got the info and bingo, bango, shit was fixed 2 weeks later.

are you close with your family? mom, dad, brothers, sisters? i come from an extremely close family where we all get along and wouldnt even think about calling the cops on each other. sometimes its worth it to pay out of pocket than to risk getting higher insurance premiums or dropped for that matter. im assuming this situation was like that. dad, step mom probably said, my bad well fix your car and didnt come through. i dont know what you think a gated community is but my idea of a gated community usually means rich, houses pretty large so im sure they arent hurting for cash. 1200 bucks to them may not be what 1200 bucks to us would be.

what i meant by saying the dad didnt have balls and was a dick too is that if dad stated keep bedroom door closed, have job, go to school and you have a roof over your head then he should honor that. just cause all of a sudden step mom is jealous or whatever he shouldnt have to move out. original agreement should be honored. i know my dad would never do something like that.
