so i just moved and have looked for a job....

yo guys stfu
$6.25 good job man!!

Lets say he did start working at a restaurant.. as a bus boy he aint making much more then 6.25... if he worked in the kitchen he'd start off washing dishes for 6.25 or maybe less.

not to mention it's disgusting smelly work. Hey may not see many girls at Ross but atleast when he does he wont smell like rotten food.

$20 bucks waiting tables.. maybe if he was a girl offering blowjobs in the meat freezer.'

Edit: hahah i still cant believe how many people are suggesting he work at a restaurant.. hahahha thats the worst ****ing place to work.. restaurants, bars and clubs..
you dont have to start out in a resturant doing the absolute worst jobs in the place. why dont you tell him that you have to scrub tolettes to get started in a resturant. if your going to start out in a resturant, start off as a host or do carry outs. after doing carry outs, you will know enough to be a server.

Work for Lowe's. That's where I work. They pay cashiers around $9.00. Work is bs and people are mean and stupid. It's fun though...in a sick sorta way. I enjoy it. Been there 3 years....lot of room for advancement if you are willing to give up social life. ALso, they usually work around school schedule, but higher education WILL NOT get you promoted. Only time, labor, and skill.

i have never worked in a restaurant but i have heard stories...but i shovel stalls out and that is a stick job esspecially when u stick a pitch fork in 2 foot of crap and pry it up and its like a suction cup. but u get used to it and u make 10 dollars an hour so it realy isnt that bad

I make in the neighborhood of $25 - $30 an hour mowing lawns, and im only 16 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .

I only work about 5-7 hours a week and get about $200 a week for 6 jobs. (a little less right now because some people only want it mowed every other week due to the heat).

If im lucky and pick up a few spare car detailing jobs, I can make upward of a thousand a month and only have to work around 30 hours per month //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D

although I did pay $500 for a new mower a while ago, so that sets me back a little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

im just doing it to have money to buy my project truck and work on it. im not looking to make 20,000 a year. i dont pay for college/car payments/insurance so all i make it profit to me. just need to get out of the house and meet people. doesnt hurt to make a few bucks while doing it.

im 18, and i make 20 an hour. my advice for you is to go to a restraunt like chillis or what have you and wait tables, you can make alot of money! lot more then you'll make doing that. plus you get to meet really cool people and sleep with some of the waitresses... win win
True dat. I work at a restaraunt as a server and make 20 dollars an hour on a bad day after tipping everyone out. And it is the same for every restaraunt I've worked at. The managers are all about hiring teh hotness when it comes to the opposite ***.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

i have big *****......but im not the "opposite ***" ur speaking of........

no, i lay tile for 20 dollars an hour, but i used to wait tables and could pull in about 12 an hour if i was kissing enough ***
**** my firend work for red robin 7.00 an hr but he pulls at least 150 a night in tips. and me im makein 9 an hr workin for good guys car audio.

restaraunt work is about as underrated as it gets. especially when it comes to servers and busboys. some of you gents need to take another look at the restaraunt world. say your sales may be 1000 dollars for breakfast. on average, a server will make 17 percent of their sales. 170 dollars right there. and when it is time to clock out say again my sales are 1000 dollars. when you claim tips i claim only 10 percent of my sales, so 100 bucks. so i only claim 100 dollars of the 170 i made, so the way i look at it, i am getting "free" untaxed money in my pocket which equates to an overall higher hourly wage. math is easy, and it is quite easy to do a 1000 dollar breakfast where i work. and this is all for a shift of 8 hours or less.
