i finally got one! a new shopping center has beem built and i got a job at ROSS clothing store getting 6.25 an hour. That is a gaurunteed 6.25 more than i was making yesterday hahaha. im stoked

im 18 and i refuse to cook food/work around it. I know people that are "chefs" in higher scale resteraunts and even they complain of the dirty work environment and shitty treatment they recieve. I also know some people back home working at things like olive garden and red lobster and some steak houses and all that say the same thing. I just refuse to work around food lol... i said the same about clothing for a while but ross is hardly a difficult job haha.

im 18, and i make 20 an hour. my advice for you is to go to a restraunt like chillis or what have you and wait tables, you can make alot of money! lot more then you'll make doing that. plus you get to meet really cool people and sleep with some of the waitresses... win win

restaurants are shitty work for the most part but you cant really make much more money anywhere else with out some kind of schooling. and if you work at a resturant for long enough, you can do something cool like be a bartender and make really good money.

Lets say he did start working at a restaurant.. as a bus boy he aint making much more then 6.25... if he worked in the kitchen he'd start off washing dishes for 6.25 or maybe less.

construction pays real good too, and you get plenty of hours, i make 30 an hour when im getting overtime and i ususaly get 46 hrs a week, until this week when i quit because of school

Money is money, you cant realy be picky when your young. You either have resturants, gas stations, grocery stores or outlet stores.
