i had a similiar problem, you tell them not to cover any stereo stuff, and you strip that *****. trust me, i did.

I have a document from the insurance company stating that it's covered if attached to the car. I specifically asked about extra insurance riders for my stereo and they gave me a statement saying no extra premium was necessary for it to be covered.

I got in an accident like that 2 years ago. I was turning left and ahse ran the red light and hit me and my truck hit a van that was also turning. The cop that showed up kept asking me if maybe I thought the light green so I went and asking if the sun was my eyes, it was like he was trying everthing not put the blame on the 20 year old hottie that hit me. But since I wasn't the only one turning left at the time and some people stayed at the scene as witnesses he had no choice but to put her at fault on the police report and then he told her that since no one was got hurt he wasn't going to ticket to her( that pissed my wife off alot). I had a system in my truck so I pulled it out before the tow truck took my truck. But my accident ended in a good way her insurance company gave me $8600 for my. I bought it for $7000 a year and half before this happened so I made money off it. Well I just thought I would share my experince with you. I hope everything ends up ok for you.
