see i've been trying the whole car wax thing and it doesn't seem to be working. i make sure it's all rubbed in and then i wait about 15-20 minutes or so.

i'm pretty sure it's embedded, but i can't feel it with my fingernail..so idk what to think. i've done like 3 layers now..

oh man, good luck, theres this cd scratcher fixer thing called the Scratch Doctor i think, it's supposed to get rid of scratches and it's like 25 bucks at Gamestop.

as for friends, my coworkers are my only friends right now so that'd be kinda hard to do.

try saying you got home and it wasn't in the box. this actually DID happen to me with a DVD, i got home, took all the protective wrapping off and the DVD wasn't in there. i brought up the empty box with the receipt and the lady said "it happens from time to time, not too often, but it does happen" then just told me to go pick out another one.

provided it's not any worse than mine is..i was considering that too.

edit: i realized, the rental games have a little label on the disc saying what store it belongs too and is hard to peel off the disc...

also, after waxxing it at least 6 times now, it's playing good. no problems yet..*knocks on wood*. cheap but time consuming trick. tehe.

at least a couple..but at leat i don't have to spend any more money on a new copy or bother trying to exchange it..thank you to whoever told me about the wax. excellent advice.
