so i just fuxored my game

i don't think the wax made one bit of difference. tried doing a swirling motion but it doesn't seem to be doing anything for the scratch. i hope my warranty isn't void. 90 day warranty on the game itself from the date of purchase. they shouldn't be able to detect any gunk on the disc itself should they? i wiped all that shit off.

Did you say you work at walmart? If you do...just take it there, you know how lax the return policy is. Plus if you work there have a buddy do it for you in returns.

They wont.
If you fill the scratch with wax, let it harden, then buff it out moving form the inside out it should help some unless it is fingernail thickness deep or more.
gotcha. i tried feeling with my fingernail not trying to scratch it more and couldn't feel it. how long does it usually take to harden? i just tried putting it in my 360. hope it doesn't leave residue..

Like normal car wax. 10-12min in a dry, cool environment and it will turn flakey and white. Then take a soft cloth and start at the center and buff in stright lines outward and then inward. Buff untill all white residue is gone. Then repeat. If it doesnt look like it is getting any better at all after the 2nd or 3rd time you may as well jsut try and return it. Just make sure that you get all of the noticable wax off and buff it nice. Take it back and say you poped her in and she didnt work, you inspected the disk and it had a scratch in it. You know it isnt your player because it plays other disks fine and none of them are scratched.

Did that to my Enchanted Arms game, used my Game Dr. and it was able to help it enough to play it. Sometimes I had to work with it and eject it a couple times but game worked 90% of the time. Game Dr's the best thing I have seen to repair disks or if you have a hollywood video with the game crazy in it, they have a repair machine.

only thing is i bought the game beginning of last month. that wouldn't go too well saying it didn't work from the get-go. 1 month before the 1st time i played it? fishy. what about if i said something along the lines of it recently started skipping and not wanting to read the disc and i noticed there was a huge scratch on it.

Then it's obviosuly your fault.

Tell them you bought the game before you got your 360 because youre lame like that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Or that you had to beat Game X before you played Game Y. You plated it breifly and then went back to beat game X, when you really started playing game Y it started ****ing up with read errors.
