so i just fuxored my game

gears of war. collectors edition ($70!!!). i moved my 360 into the living room temporarily to connect to xbl and i wanted to sit it on something so the vents on both the top and bottom are uncovered and what i had it sitting on wasn't too stable and right as i was about to move it, i bumped it while reading my GOW game disc and it fell over and put a nice perfect circle mark on my game disc. i tried using a fine cloth but i think it's engraved on the disc. any one know how i can potentially remove it or should i take it to like gamestop (or similar) and see if they can repair it for a fee? warranty is void due to it being an accident and not technical issues. last resort is buying the freaking game AGAIN ($70 down the drain again.

exactly.. as long as your trying to get the same game it works no problem.

i actually did buy a game once that didn't work the first time... had no receipt or anything but they still exchanged it for another copy at walmart.

ya, they'll exchange it for the same game for 30 days, don't put gunk on it
Hair Gel is the most retarded thing Ive ever heard of... Waxing on the other hand is how most disc repair people get scratches out. Waxing, polishing compond, and acrylic filler (basically clear nail pollish). But I dont reccomend trying the last two unless you know what you are doing.
