So i just found this truck on craigslist

I'd hold out for awhile, that's alotta miles to be buying a truck even with a diesel. Plus you don't know how hard the previous owner or owners used it. You can find a much better truck for a little more cash, you might just have to drive it a ways because it's not in the area.

yea, my friend averages 92 dollars an hour when it snows
Plow and a trailer and a truck can make money easy all year long, does a helluva lot more than cartin your arse around on the pavement. The price seems right if not low to me though, I would definitely look into it and just interview the previous owner some, built BTS ****** would be a bit under $4k rebuilt motor around $6k or so and other than that I doubt there would be much more, so $14k or so for a truck that will be ready for another 300-500k never seen or heard of a rear end blowing up even from heavy towing (as long as power isn't boosted) front hubs maybe trouble. Find out about the glow plugs and glow plug controller as well as the CPS otherwise shouldn't be too bad, heck if even the suspension starts to sag get a small 4" or so lift for about $1,000 and you should be good, or just find leafs off trucks that have been junked and you would be fine. As long as the body ain't rotted to crap and I would doubt it for only being 9 years old, you should be fine.

Doing what? Kansas City has snow removal equipment.
Maybe he is like others and just post his closest major city instead of the town he lives in which no one has ever heard of, and I doubt the city does driveways, or parking lots.

Weekly fuel consumption for around 490 miles a week averaging a little over 14mpg unloaded (winter fuel gives worse mileage than in the summer when I get 17-18mpg) OH and that was from when fuel was only $3.49 a gallon, its been consistantly 50 cents higher per gallon than premium unleaded for the past year or so. Oh and this is with a 6.0 crew cab long bed 4x4, my dads 2000 F350 7.3 regular cab long bed 4x4 gets around 13-15 he only has about 120k on it though (runs like a top and has yet to ever have an issue other than ball joints)

If he lives outside of the city, then there isn't shit for him to do. Have you ever been through KC? lawl
naw last time I was in KC I was 5 years old I think lol. Sounds like he can be haulin brush or probably hay or something and plow some parking lots or something (guessin most of the people outside of the city got their own plow trucks though.)

are you kidding? i live 20 minutes outside the city and theres 5 quick trips within 10 minutes of me each of them pay over 300 to plow there lot. my church pays 900 to plow theres, and i could do that in less than 3 hours in the morning.
