I had my hands on one, but just for a few minutes. Several of us contributed to ship one to California for this review by npdang of DIYMA fame. A local guy (Maryland) bought one and offered it up for testing. Since the original packaging was completely destroyed during the journey from ED, I built a plywood crate to ship it. The owner brought it to me, we packed it up and shipped it off.im sorry, i really dont know. it wasnt a softpart failure, though.. (manufacturer defect)
The sub itself weighed a ton and it was definitely a little rougher looking than I expected it to be. I didn't really have a chance to examine it in the detail you have. I wasn't impressed cosmetically and I seem to recall that one of the selling points was that it could take anything you gave it.
