Of course, it's your word against the word of a respected member of the bar.... once again, good luck. Lawyers have no problem lying, and he'd probably do so and end up getting you thrown UNDER the jail in the longrun.

More than you're going to want to pay, I'd guess.

I might argue the case to the judge that the attorney's vigilantism was more dangerous than your reported speed violations. I don't think that simply driving 40 through a residential section warrants the thousands of dollars worth of fines and insurance hikes it looks like you may end up with, but I don't feel sorry for people who do what you did.

Someone killed a kid right in front of my house a couple months ago doing exactly what you did, so personally, I'd err on the side of caution were I the judge. I don't think I'd throw the book at you, but I wouldn't let you off lightly, either, instead making sure you learned a lesson you'd never forget.

I think it is funny that you come onto a caraudio forum to ask legal advice. You know, this will SHOCK ya, but there are legal advice forums?!?

Since you stopped in though. I say go in wearing a shirt that says "power to the people" give the judge the finger and tell the police officer too bad he caught you slowing down, then mutter something about how fast you were really going.

If you can muster of the confidence, drop the pants, take a dump on the table and throw some at the judge and bailiff and make monkey noises, at least you may get insanity if it goes bad.

my uddy allmost got arrested last night for pissing in public. they called in dispatche. trying to find something on him...

they where pissed and wanted to take him in for sure!!! but they couldent find anything. cop said and i quote

" i was born and raised in this town i dont take it very well when someone pisses all over my hometown's building's. go back to cleveland and piss all over there. if i every catch you jay walking, anything. i will have you arrested."

and we went on our jolly way

Surprised he didn't go to jail just for pissing in public. My friend got arrested for exactly that. Public indecency or something similar.

Matter of fact, it was exactly that incident that led to my research about the Miranda warning, since he wasn't read his rights, either. He ended up dropping it and paying the fine, since he hadn't a leg to stand on... the cops drove up behind him as he was pissing on a dumpster...

I'm not regularly incarcerated so I have no idea how it works.

i've gotten released on a sunday before, the judge came in and they set my bail right at a desk.... mine wasn't free.

So you're one of those little ****ers that drive through neighborhoods like a bat out of hell. I can't stand it when people do that when my kid is outside playing. I probably would have run your *** off the road also. Total disrespect and stupidity. Say you had of hit one of those kids, would you try to get out of it because the kid wasn't holding a sign that said " I'm crossing the road now, please don't hit me"

i got arrested for mary jane and my lawyer said there are certain instances they dont even have to mention your rights
