k, 360 has hd-dvd? it does? k i'm gonna go buy a 360 and put an hd-dvd in it and see if it plays, oh wait, i gotta pay $70 to get an add on drive., Ps3 has blu-ray built in, not to mention blu-ray is out selling hd-dvd, every 89 disks blu ray sells, hd-dvd sells 19. Still not convinced? hd-dvd has a total of 2 exclusive studios backing it, blu ray has...well, everyone else. it's only a matter of time my friend.

i can agree with the games, GoW is a good game and Halo 3 is good but overrated. Ps3 has a couple of heavy hitters out now and some coming in the near future.

Xbox live better be better than the PSNetwork. Considering i have to pay for xbox live and PSN is completely free. Once Home comes out for Ps3(again, still free) it will blow XBL away. ZOMG I GET ACHEIVEMENT POINTS THAT I CANT DO SHIT WITHZOMGOMGOM.

Ps3 uses a standard notebook HD, that means i can switch out any size hard drive that i want WITHOUT buying a whole new system.

you cant just stick any HD in a PS3 lol. and blue ray isnt winning the HD battle. HD dvd has the biggest supporting them and xbox live will always be better than PSonline. oh and you pay 200 more to get that blue ray in your PS3, xbox is smart enough to creat different packages like xbox core,premium,arcade,and the elite so that ppl can choose what they want based on what they will use and how much they can spend. i would rather pay 70 bucks for an HD drive and $300 for a 360, than 600 for a PS3 and a couple controllers.(and im talking about the prices at release). plus you can buy a 120 GB hd for the 360, you dont need any more, also if blu ray does win, xbox was smart enough to make the drives as add ons, so that if BR does win they can just make a drive that you plug in.

While MS hasn't ruled out a BD add-on, I seriously can't see them paying royalties to SONY, a direct competitor, to use it.

BD has more studio support, though HD has the 2 largest studios, which Universal's VP is in charge of the HD-DVD format.

you CAN put in Blu Ray disk in a ps3 and it'll play.

if you want to go back to release lets look at facts.

360 had the Core at what? $300? and premium at $400? or was it 400 and 500. either way the core didn't even come with a HD, neither came with hd-dvd and neither came with HDMI hook ups.

then a year later, omg what happens? microsoft comes out with a Black 360 (like the ps3) with hdmi (like the ps3) and a bigger hd (like the ps3)

only games i have are Assassin's Creed and Rock Band. Will get uncharted soon that game is pretty sweet, but aside from those 3 there's not a whole left.

Give it time though, Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Home and LittleBigPlanet will all be great stuff. i hope.....

no shIT, it will play, and the new 360s have a HD that is 2x the size of the biggest ps3 HD. but the 360 premium DID come with hd cables, and it was 400$. the ps3 had a BD, and wireless controllers for 600$. what you FAIL to realize is that you can get a system that is every bit as good as the ps3 for $200 less and is smart enough to make add ons so that if Blu ray does win they will still be set. and i think your forgetting i have a ps3. also the 360 has wayy better games and xbox live is the icing on the cake.
