And I have been looking into getting some subs now that I have a car again. Right now I'm looking at two kicker 12s in box, with that I know I need an amp so I have been looking into possibly a 1000w high rms amp, but again, brand wise I have no clue what the difference is, just looking for some input from someone who actually knows something about this type of thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i have a powerbass xa 3000 deka 9a78dt a external aero ported box and sundown nightshade v1 12 and all the wiring that was ran in a mustang $800 plus shipping.

I had a teg I used to drive around daily...nice car over all... It was a bit "thrown together..." but it worked good.

This is what I did with it for a simple system. Worked great overall.

I think I still have the trim plate and such sitting around..lol

Headunit

Subwoofer

sub stage amp

So, 800$ is too much. What do you want to spend, no one can really help you unless they know how much you want to spend.

The Diamond Audio 1000.1 and the AQ 1200d would be great amps that can do 1000w + and are both around 300$ which is a good price for a solid 1000w amp.

Sundown and Incriminator Audio make nice subs. The Alpine Type R is a decent inexpensive sub that can get loud.

From the basic consensus I am getting, yes. But would a 1000watt system require new battery/anything else?
