Problems always popping up. I have a pioneer avh-1500 head unit and today for no apparent reason just started shutting off randomly. Is there a built in system that would make it restart like that or should i check wiring

Yes check wiring, nothing should make the HU turn off unless you have a car that turns off the HU when you turn off the car and open the door.

thats a lot of turn offs....

I got smart and calm down and thought it through. It is a 2002 audi a4 so you have to run the wire over to the fuse box i'm guessing that is the loose one. Or so i hope because i don't have any idea how to get my double din out of the dash.
