So does this oldschool Orion amp do rated??

I always see people one here talking about fuse ratings on amps to determine if they are over rated etc..and it got me thinking...

I have a Oldschool Orion HCCA 250r im running and it's fused with two 30's = 60 amps and the amp is rated at 800x1 @ 1 ohm

So is this amp overated since it only has 60 amps of fusing??

I've been told it's rated at 12v to put out 800 rms and at 14v it's likely to put out about 1000 rms any truth to this??

i had one, great underrated amps. will run .5 ohm easily, and will do both channels at .5 but does get hot in the process, well built though

Fosgate 800a2's are suggested at 60a (external fuse) and are rated at 800x1 at 4ohm and do about 1000rms

i some of the old school amps , when runing the amps at lower than normal ohm loads, they suggest you change to a higher fuse rating
