Snake In My Car :

cruisin concepts in deland.....whats it matter?

and it is in the process of being redone, it used to face incar but i turned it around and im getting a new, bigger box, taking out stock 6x9's (the pressure causes them to bottom out and flap around) and i have half roll raamat for the trunk. was supposed to be installed today but the snake thing held that off. its going to be done by JBM (on here) and his buddy AJ from jacksonsville.

Maybe you should do it yourself next time then you'll know how to take your interior apart. Personally I don't know how you did it. I could never pay someone else to touch my car or my system. Even when I was your age. Now because of that I know how to take my cars apart and don't have to pay anyone.

oh well thats not the point. the point is getting this reptile out of my car. if you want to criticize me for getting my car done at a shop save it for a PM or another time.

and i just washed the car, then i opened it and the smell of chlorine is strong, but still no signs of snake. maybe he jumped ship that first night when it was cold??? :-??

im gonna probably put the chlorine in a bucket so more of it is exposed to give off fumes. maybe put clorox in there also.

im still not gonna drive it till later this week, im gonna park outside and bake that snake if he dont want to show!

i bought some of those cabinet bumpers. put three on the top, three on the bottom (right middle and left sides) then i put 2 strips of 2sided tape on ever bumper, and a piece of ensolite i got from rick @ raamaudio.

but thats overkill, i found out its not the light anymore, its the pressure in the trunk causing the disconnected 6x9's to move as if they were bottoming out x10. so they prolly bounce so high and his the stock speaker grill, im gonna have them taken out tho.

No, no, no. I'm not criticising you for that. I'm just saying that if you start taking initiative with your car instead of having someone else do everything to it you will end up knowing alot more about your car. Then you would know how to take your car apart.

If it were me there is NO WAY IN HELL I would let an animal DIE in my car. I would be disassembling that mother fucker right now.

I did not read the entire thread -- but why do you suspect the snake may be dead? Is it due to the temperature?

Don't count on the snake starving any time soon. They can easily go months without eating.

I was in a better position because I knew where the snake had gone into the dash. Therefore I was able to direct the fumes somewhat. Once the fumes hit him he started uncoiling and looking for a way out. Once he did that we were able to pull him the rest of the way out.

If it is very cold outside the snake will not be as active as he would otherwise.

Ummm I hate to be the dick in the thread calling BS and saying “something isn’t right" but I can’t help it... something just isn’t right with this story and situation. A cop couldn’t say it’s not a criminal act because it is in every way a criminal act.... Vandalism, animal endangerment and in many places it would be considered assault... if this is true and I were you I would have the cops badge number and make them call out a superior officer, record the convo and let them know you will be getting a lawyer. Also no police officer would ever say it’s a civil matter for small claims court… SCC has limitations and most cops are smart enough to know not to ever give legal advice…. Not only that but she rendered a vehicle worth a decent amount of money useless as it would be un safe to drive such a vehicle as the snake could come out and cause a major wreck….

friday night it was in the 40s and the car was outside, saturday it was outside all day and it was in the 70s. and today its near 80. we put all the windows up and we are trying to cause it to become too hot. tomorow will be ~82 and tuesday high 70s, after that its going to be cold so i dont know.

and my parents dont want me working on my car system, let alone taking apart the dash. i turned my sub box around and got yelled at over just that.

this b/s if you want i know what he said. he said it was just a harsh joke that went wrong and a police report wouldnt benefit us. basically we'd have to sue the person for the damages if any. because what if we tear apart the car and dont find anything, either way we have to take the bill to the people (who will say they aint paying) and then end up in a court suing them and spending money. lets just see if it dies and smells, it may have left that first night because of the cold, and i know it can go weeks without food.

and i dont know where in the car he is, if he is still, so i cant direct the fumes, im going to end up putting the chlorine in a bucket and maybe some clorox to strengthen the fumes.

as of now, im getting a ride to school from a friend, im not driving this car.

I'm sorry man, I guess I didn't realize how young you were. I'll leave you alone and hope you're doing the right thing.

Live and learn. You still live at home and your parents paid for the car. What can you really do? Once you're older and move out then you can call the shots. My parents never bought me a car so don't take it for granted whatever you do. Let someone else work on it til you're a little older and wiser to do it yourself.

exactly. the whole new installation was supposed to be a learning experience and i was gonna learn how to build the box myself and take out rear speaks.

PPD tho.
