Snailshell for 2 Comp VR 12's dual 2ohm

Hey I have a question. I have heard alot of talk about snailshell and I am in South Carolina, Beaufort to be exact and nobody around here knows how to build one that I can find. Can somebody tell me about this type of box and rough dimensions and it is better than the box I already have that is tuned to 36.4 hz.

I dont think the are worth the money,my boy has on with 2 diamond M612" and it sounded just like a nomal ported box(no difference from his other box,same cuft but I think it was tuned a lil lower) and he got his from power4sound
