Smokey Orion

I finally got my orion back and fixed. It was replaced from Orion after it was blown. I hooked it up and it hits pretty hard. Today i smelled plastic burning and looked behind my seat and seen smoke. My speaker still needs broken in, and thats why i think it was smoking, but im curious if it could be from any other problems? I was wondering if the wire i ran wasnt enough awg? Im only running 1600w into it out of a Harrison Labs amplifier, the sub 2000w RMS.

Well, If you just blew your orion. and you just put the new one it in and it starts somking I personally would be a little worried. You could be frying the VC's. Just to be safe I would double check your gains. If everything is ok then I would say glue.
