boss's planet audio big bang amps/woofers are decent subs have the same basket as the opti1232s all about that install in the end anyways. s/o to all the small companies that could by out all these "high end companies" whenever they feel like it,, boss, sound around, power acoustik. Maxxsonics too haha. If these companies actually made their own equipment they wouldn't have to sale it for so much. Anyone could start an amp company get a deal with a buildhouse and slap your logo on that ho. Call an amp that does 3k a 2k sale it for the price of a 4.5k and can take 18v now your amps are "solid" btw a lot of hifonics higher end stuff does rated and can take 18v but since it doesn't do more than what it says u hear people say dumb things like "u get what u pay for" think I'm lyin? just look at the price for a new dc 2k

I haven't seen blown Fi subs like I've seen blown DC's. Amps aren't anything unique, but they're all good-proven boards. I actually really like LV6 motor. It's what I'd use if I were to ever use 4" coil. LV5 motor does quite well with Sundown softparts.

Keep in mind just because some arsehole you know changes subs and gains or loses means nothing if the box remains the same. I can say from experience, just changing suspension on a sub (same coil, cone, and motor) will make a dramatic difference if you just try to throw it in the same box.

Oh yeah, and if you put all the douchebags in car audio on an island. Meade would be running close second to being declared king (right after that cvnt that runs HAT)

I dunno I really enjoyed my dc's and they were getting nowhere near full potential and it was my first year really competing... I also got them for extremely cheap new and had great customer service it's hard to accept such claims about a company that's so good lol.

If I got the jest of this thread right....Most people are buying subs and throwing 2-4 times the RATED power on them and getting upset when the bastard comes apart?......RMS ratings are created for a reason.......I deal in many different brands and they all have their share of issues but the majority of the time it's simply user error or plain old abuse.......
