Split coil. Suppose to have a lot of motor force. Don't know the advantages/disadvantages. SMD = Steve Meade Design.

they look about as stupid as I said they would before they came out. Then steve got butthurt because I said I would never consider one just for his shitty sig on the dustcap alone and he wouldn't let anyone buy one with a different dustcap example such as the simple AA logo only. I'm sure it's an excellent shit catcher though. Just overpriced/hyped/etc/etc/etc.

Heard nick several times say this woofer is stupid/steve is a dumb**** more or less on aim a long while back... thus adding to the lul even more.

:/ though I don't remember nick's exact words it was along those lines.

One advantage of a stronger motor is the ability to use a smaller enclosure. It also provides some advantages in spl burps, but this sub is not designed for that purpose.
