smallish 6.5 mids?

Hey, does anyone have any recommendations on 6.5's that are closer to 6.25? Or 6's that are closer to 6.25? I keep looking, but so few companies actually publish this info.

My doors have speaker recesses about 6.25" wide, 5.5" cutout, and not much room behind the grilles for tall surrounds.

I bought some Rainbow Kick mids, looked like just the ticket, but they're a full 6.5 and that's more cutting than I want to do in the door panels.

KEF 6.5's fit just fine, but one has a bad VC, and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.

They'll be seeing 50-80 watts RMS, depending on which amp I decide to use.

Well there is always MDF rings but of cores clearance is the issue and than there is cutting the door up a little which is what I did. Other than that I do not know what to suggest.

It's a rare car, 415 produced this year. Parts are difficult and expensive.

Cutting up the car is not really an option I'd like to pursue, if suitable speakers are available.
