Smaller box for FI "Q" 12?

I had a 12" Q in a large ported box to spec and a mouse died inside it. Now it smells horrible and I would like to see what you guys would suggest for a new box. I already have a smaller sealed box, which I may use. I am wondering what you guys think though.
