small "pop" coming from subs?

he's talkin about when you just turn the car on, or just turn the accessory on, then turn it off, the subs go POP! real quick, as if they're releasing power....

I have never seen a direct answer to this question so I can't help you out bro.... do you have a cap in your car??... This happened to one of my friends setups... never figured it out.

 
if you're talking about the amp's ground, i have it fastened straight to the chassis, but the screw goes thru the plastic covering the chassis, and in between the plastin n chas theres a washer.

 
i have the amp hooked up to the hu from the hi input plug. 5 cables come out, the + n - left n rights, and the ground cable. but this is from the high input, i already have the amp directly connected to the chassis
