the first bend in yer port, where the 45 cut is in the port, is probably really, really throwing off tuning.

like i said, could be picture angle, but the spacing there looks tiny compared to the port area.

the first bend in yer port, where the 45 cut is in the port, is probably really, really throwing off tuning.

like i said, could be picture angle, but the spacing there looks tiny compared to the port area.

x2, I was thinking the exact same thing. Looks like the width goes from 2" to 1-1.25"...if you're using a 2" wide port, the angle in the corner should just be a hair over 3/4" from the corner itself. 7/8" IIRC from the corner to the face of the 45* angle.

edit: it's actually 13/16" from corner to face of 45* for 2" of clearance.

I'm not sure, I've never tested anything like that before. Using that skinny of a port isn't a great thing to do either...is it 1.5" x 12"?

Like the box, well built and solid. Interested about how the reduction at the corner 45 affects tuning also.

You should angle the corner two so that it's parallel.

Finished carpeting them a couple days ago. Time to upload some pics.
