Seeing as how this is my first post I should probably talk about myself a bit.
I'm 22, drive a 2000 honda accord coupe, 5 spd, I'm a carpenter. I enjoy playing online games along with first person shooters and racing games.
I've been an audio nut since the age of 16 when I was introduced into the automotive world. Started off tearing apart old mini stereo system and scavenging for thrown out towers with blown speakers, rummaging through junkyards at night for aftermarket speakers.
My fascination became a reality when I purchased my first piece of audio equipment. Two Rockford RF2212s, the old HX2s. After running off my old mans receiver for a year, I went out a bought a 1001bd. As time went on I upgraded my system. Two 1001bds, two RF2212s, a P2002, a rockford cap, rockford wiring, coaxials, etc etc (yes I had a fascination with rockford). A custom molded fiberglass box for my first car, a 1990 Celica GT-S. The box was roughly 8 cubes ported.
It's been about 3 years since then and I'm upgrading my system to hopefully compete in what's left of the season.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So here's what I'm building. System specs are:
Two cascade omega 15s Dual 1s
Soundstream XXX-6500
180amp alt by a local SPL shop
Odyssey PC2150 and PC1500
Stinger 500amp battery isolator
JVC KD-AVX2
Audiocontrol line driver
and a ton of 0 gauge wire.
Here is a shot of most of the goodies.
Here are some pics of the omegas.
The HX2s VS the omega
Here is a custom battery mount I'm building to fit into the trunk.
Step 1, forming the bottom with glass.
Step 2, building the walls.
Step 3, connecting the joints.
Step 4, gluing it together.
The final look.
Some of the images turned out kinda small, I'm still trying to get used to this place.
